'For Spring 2017, designer Albert Kriemler brought his collection for Akris to New York Fashion Week! After receiving the 2016 Fashion Institute of Technology Couture Council award, a few days later, Kriemler presented a collection inspired by a work of art that he discovered at NYC\'s Whitney Museum of American Art called Blanco y Verde by abstract minimalist painter Carmen Herrera.
